Skin Care Packaging Portfolio

This post is introducing my Skin Care Packaging Portfolio.

In the past posts I have devoted few posts to skin care packaging. In this entry I would like to summarise it and put it in one place.

New Amber Mead Drink

For my new post I have prepared a new can design for drink from mead. I wanted something different something unusual.

In my new can I wanted to use colours related to honey and possibly one or two contrasting colours, to help packaging to stand out easier.

While designing it is always helpful to do sketching prior the actual work on the computer. Below you can see some of the ketches I did to help me clarify my idea.

Mead, or “honey wine,” is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey.

It’s one of the oldest alcoholic beverages ever made, as it was consumed as far back as 4,000 years. Interestingly, mead was common across ancient cultures around the world including those in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Though similar to beer, wine or cider, mead occupies a beverage category on its own since its primary fermentable sugar is honey.

All you need to make basic mead is honey, water and a yeast or bacterial culture. However, ingredients such as fruits, herbs, spices, grains, roots and flowers are often included as well.

Mead’s alcohol content varies but is typically around 5–20%. Its flavour profile ranges from very sweet to very dry, and it’s available in both sparkling and still versions.

First I started with basic designs and basic shapes.

I wanted to use different motives for my background. Images above are showing backgrounds with flowers.

I have muted the photographs on a purpose to help the typography and labels to stand out better.

The pictures are showing the options with honeycomb in the background.

Skin Care for men Advert

For this post I am trying to follow the same theme. I have done a beauty products advert for women and now I have decided to do the same for men.

Thy style of the advert is the same, just the product and colour combination is different.

After creating this one I discovered that the word shampoo is too close to the graphics. The colour were also too ininteresting so I decided to change that too.

These adverts are usually used in the magazines. I wanted to have mine in one of those too.

Restaurant Banner

I have made many brochures, posters and flyer, but not a single banner. I have decided to amend this mistake and create a restaurant banner.

Again it wouldn’t work without the amazing photos from pixels.com. So once more huge thank you to the photographers who took those photos. I am listing them below.

Bi Fold Brochure

I wanted to do some food brochure. So I did this one. I might have to do another version with the page on the other side, but I was keen to share this.

Because I felt I haven’t done much work yet, I am quickly adding card too. I have copied the address from the internet. Surely there is something, but not the Mighty Bee Breakfast Bar, I have made that up.

I need to thank for the photos, they from pexels.com again. The authors are listed below.
