If this would be for real, they would be sold in the RHS shop as a memorabilia. We ladies sometimes love to have something to reminds the places we have once visited.
If you own a pair of jeans or trousers (which I am assuming you do), you’ll probably need a top to go with them. I wanted to design something quite playful and funny. Like the example below showing London silhouette.
A T-shirt is a style of unisex fabric shirt named after the T shape of its body and sleeves. Traditionally it has short sleeves and a round neckline, known as a crew neck, which lacks a collar. T-shirts are generally made of a stretchy, light and inexpensive fabric and are easy to clean. Typically made of cotton textile in a stockinette or jersey knit, it has a distinctively pliable texture compared to shirts made of woven cloth. Some modern versions have a body made from a continuously knitted.
The material used would be 100% cotton.
I didn’t want to design too many variations as sometimes it is good to keep it simple.
A spring has definitely arrived, which is delightful. For this post I have decided to create a poster for The Chelsea Flower Show.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, formally known as the Great Spring Show,[ is a garden show held for five days in May by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in Chelsea, London. Held at Chelsea since 1912, it is the most famous flower and landscape gardens show in the United Kingdom, and perhaps in the world. The show is attended by members of the British Royal Family and attracts visitors from all continents.
Highlights to the Chelsea Flower Show include the avant-garde show gardens designed by leading names with Floral Marquee at the centerpiece. The Show also features smaller gardens such as the Artisan and Urban Gardens.
At the moment I am in favour of vintage look. I create this poster from flowers illustrations not from the real photos.
I wanted to give more style option. I have created some variations in the style. Here I am using photographs.
After watching a trailer on RHS website featuring interviews with the participants of the show. I decided that a sharp angles are not always the best.
One of the topics of this year how is gargening for well being. This idea told of one of the gardeners to create something which would let the visitors to explore the garden more intuitively rather through designed paths I have created few more versions of my poster.
The colour used for the background of the posters are always colour picked from the photos. I am aiming for colour harmony.
The challenge here is to create something with text and photos without either of them overpowering the other one. I also didn’t want too many photos which would disturb the simplicity of the poster. I also struggled with placements of the logos. I resolved the issue by placing them on bottom right side.
The Chelsea Flower show is very visual and I feel photos are very important part of the poster. I felt I have to include those and they need to be relatively big in size.
Over all I am happy with my designs and might do more later on.
I started to volunteer for this organization called “Wise Thoughts” which is dynamic local, national, international art initiatives and delivers services to help address social justice issues and needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) and Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
Founded in 1999 and based in Haringey, North London, Wise Thoughts has organised London’s LGBTQI cross-art festival, GFEST – Gaywise FESTival ®, since 2007. Haringey LGBT network was managed by Wise Thoughts.
I feel extremely honored and proud to be volunteering for such organisation. I am an aspiring graphic designer and this a great opportunity to test my skills.
An absolutely “unmissable and MUST” evening full of LGBTQI+ arts, videos, music, performers, spoken word and live acts. GFEST is co-ordinated by arts charity Wise Thoughts. Food and drinks are available at the bar.

This Parallax Photo I have created using Adobe Photoshop. Animating photos was always something I wanted to learn. To my own surprise it is not as difficult as I have thought. The background photo is my own the pigeons is a png I have downloaded from the internet.
Apart from creating movie posters and etc. I also like taking photographs. One photo is never enough to capture the whole view. I wanted to fix this problem which can be quite easily fixed with Adobe Photoshop application.
I created three panoramas all three are from slightly different position. I hope you will like them.
