While Daydreaming The Time is passing by : Double Exposure Cinemagraph

I am trying to expand my skill base. I have always liked the double exposure effect on the photos.

In  this case I went bit further and created cinemagraph. I have followed a tutorial on YouTube, but used my own photo plus I have downloaded a different video.

Down below I am adding my first one, but it is in black&white which wasn’t how I wanted it, but I made some mistakes during creation.

London Panorama

Apart from creating movie posters and etc. I also like taking photographs. One photo is never enough to capture the whole view. I wanted to fix this problem which can be quite easily fixed with Adobe Photoshop application.

I created three panoramas all three are from slightly different position. I hope you will like them.

Drama movie poster

I think I am  going to stop making these posters, but I am having far too much fun with it. This one is a drama movie. In the future I will have to work more on the credits of the movie meaning fake credits.

Thriller Poster

Hello everyone or whoever is visiting my site right now. I have now realised I have got a taste for creating posters now. I don’t mean anything happy or family thing, but some darker stories.

Since following couple of tutorial now it seems much easier than was my initial thought. This last creation is something between a horror story or thriller.

The images used are actually mine they have been taken at The Barbican. It is one of the corridors there I don’t thing I would be able to find my way back there, but at have the photos. Everything used is included within Adobe Photoshop so you all can have a go and do it too.

My next attempt will be even better as there is definitely space for improvement.

Dark Horror poster

I have recently discovered I quite enjoy creating these horror posters. It is quite funny to keep turning myself into these monsters just using Adobe Photoshop. You may have guessed I follow tutorials while creating these so that means I can’t take all the credits. I have been thinking about it is not 100% moral or ethical, but the artists in the pasts or present learned by copying the old masters.

I will not put the link here as I can’t avoid showing the tutorial too and that would mean comparing my version with the one the video and I don’t like the thought of comparison. I might do more posters using the skills I have learned, but fo now this should be enough.

I will share with you the name of the the tutorial so you can go and try it too.

there are quite a few of these so you can check it and see for yourself.

Restaurant menu

Over the past years I have done number of Photoshop courses. If I try to remember the very first time I encountered Adobe Photoshop I am talking about somewhere around 2000 when I was still at high school. Back than I couldn’t do much I was happy with opening, closing and saving my document, but things are better now. If I am counting right it is 18 years it sounds like somebodies whole life.

I can use the application, but there is still lots I need to learn. I have created my first restaurant menu using Photoshop. I have always thought the best application to use for this is Adobe InDesign, but that is quite tricky software to use as there is quite a lot of rules which need to be followed to be able to use it  successfully. Sometimes I think I just haven’t got the patience for it. Enough talking here is my menu.

Horror movie poster

I really enjoy creating this movie posters as I have admitted in yesterday post I can’t take all the credits for it as I cheat with following a tutorial on youtube.

This new poster is on a horror movie. I can’t stand horror movies and I have only saw The Blair Witch Project (1999), which put me off watching any other horror movies for good.

In this case it was a fun project putting myself as the main model for the poster. I will do more posters in near future as I really enjoy it. Next time I might do some action movie poster.

I wanted my poster to look dated something somebody discovered recently to complement the theme of a mystery.
